Shrinkr

Make photos smaller in seconds. Drop in photos or whole folders, choose how small, and Shrinkr does the rest. Your originals are never touched.

For Windows 10 and 11 (64-bit) · Version 1.0.1 · 84 MB

Windows may say “Windows protected your PC” the first time, because the installer isn’t signed yet. Click More info, then Run anyway.

What it does

Smaller images, without the fuss

Drag and drop

Drop in photos or whole folders, subfolders included. Or right-click a file and open it with Shrinkr.

Resize your way

Fit within a maximum width and height, set the long edge, or scale by a percentage. It never makes images bigger.

Hit a file size

Set the quality yourself, or give Shrinkr a maximum file size and it works out the rest.

Convert formats

Keep the original format or save as JPEG, PNG or WebP. iPhone HEIC photos become everyday JPEGs.

Private by default

Camera details, dates and GPS locations are removed, unless you choose to keep them. Colour profiles are kept, and photos are turned upright first.

Your originals are safe

Shrinkr saves new copies and never overwrites other files. If you choose to replace originals, they go to the Recycle Bin.

How it works

Three steps

  1. Add your images. Drag photos or folders onto Shrinkr.
  2. Choose your settings. Size, quality, format and where to save. Shrinkr remembers them for next time.
  3. Click Shrink images. You’ll see how much space you saved.
Licence

One key, all your PCs

Shrinkr needs a licence key to shrink images. Your key is linked to your email address, lasts 12 months and works on any of your PCs, even offline.

Buying online is coming soon. In the meantime, use the form below to ask for a key.

Shrinkr uses open-source software, including Magick.NET, ImageMagick, Velopack and .NET. The full notices are in the app, under About.
